‘Squiz’ scores an OAM

Arthurs Creek man Mark ‘Squiz’ Squirrell is being honoured with an OAM in this year’s Australia Day honours. Death of popular teacher

The Local Paper regrets to advise of the passing yesterday (Sunday, Jan. 13) of Pete Davies. He was 74. Pete was a former teacher at the Plenty (Mernda) campus of Ivanhoe Grammar School. Funeral service arrangements are yet to be announced.
