Police arrested seven teenagers after a pursuit in Melbourne\u2019s West.
Officers spotted an allegedly stolen white Skoda SUV driving at high speeds on Greens Rd in Wyndham Vale just after 11pm Tuesday (Feb. 4).
The car was followed by Air Wing and police units on the ground through Werribee, Tarneit and Point Cook, then over the Westgate Bridge towards Melbourne before it returned to the western suburbs.
The Skoda came to a stop on Featherbrook Drive in Point Cook, where the occupants got out of the car and into a white Volvo.
The Volvo allegedly sped off along the Princes Freeway, outbound towards Little River, before returning to the Werribee area.
The Volvo crashed into a tree on Wisdom Avenue in Truganina.
There were no injuries and five of the occupants were swiftly arrested at the scene.
Two teens fled on foot, were located with assistance from the Air Wing, and were arrested a short time later.
A 15-year-old boy, five 16-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy, all from the Wyndham area, were to be be interviewed by police.
Officers allegedly located several weapons in both vehicles.
The Skoda is believed to be stolen during an aggravated burglary at a property on Arkins Court in Tarneit on February 2.
