Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a burglary in Doncaster.
It is alleged two offenders smashed the front door of a Clancys Lane residence about 10am on April 2 last year.
Once inside the offenders rummaged through the property allegedly stealing handbags, jewellery and watches.
On Wednesday (July 1), detectives executed a search warrant at a property in Kings Park, arresting a 38-year-old man.
During a search of the property, officers seized:
n 42 handbags from brands including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Coach, Christian Dior and Chlo\u00e9
\u2022 Backpacks from Bao Bao and Gucci
\u2022 Designer watches by MZ, Citizen, Oris and Longines
\u2022 Gucci earrings, charms and cards
\u2022 A Chanel wallet
\u2022 Bottles of Hennesy Cognac and St Agnes Grand Reserve
The Kings Park man was charged with burglary, theft, handle stolen goods and dealing with proceeds of crime.
He was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates\u2019 Court on July 7.
