{"id":3374,"date":"2025-02-25T08:48:27","date_gmt":"2025-02-24T21:48:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dindi.com.au\/wp\/?p=3374"},"modified":"2025-02-25T08:48:28","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T21:48:28","slug":"casey-13-y-o-nabbed-after-cranbourne-carjacking","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dindi.com.au\/wp\/2025\/02\/25\/casey-13-y-o-nabbed-after-cranbourne-carjacking\/","title":{"rendered":"CASEY: 13-y-o nabbed after Cranbourne carjacking"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A 13-year-old boy has been arrested by police following aggravated carjacking in Cranbourne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police have been told two friends were sitting in their car, in a carpark off Thompsons Rod, when they were approached by a male about 12.10am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The boy engaged the pair in conversation before he made demands for the car and produced a knife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two young women ran from the vehicle before they were able to raise the alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cranbourne Police members quickly responded and arrested the teen as he tried to run from the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cranbourne boy has been interviewed and charged with aggravated carjacking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was expected he will appear before a children\u2019s court ton Tuesday (Feb. 25) where police will seek his remand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The women, aged 18 and 19, weren\u2019t physically injured.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 13-year-old boy has been arrested by police following aggravated carjacking in Cranbourne.
