MANSFIELD: $1000 vouchers to be won in Bookmark competition

More than $1000 in book vouchers is up for grabs in this year’s Children’s Book Week Bookmark Competition at Mansfield Library.
Children and young people aged 4 to 17 are encouraged to get creative and enter their design.
Mansfield Mayor Cr Steve Rabie (pictured) sees an opportunity for young people to explore art and literature.
“Mansfield Shire is filled with talented artists and Council wants to protect that by providing pathways into art for our young residents,” he said.
“The Library’s annual Bookmark Competition is a great opportunity for budding artists to get creative and see their artwork distributed across the whole community.”
“The competition continues to reflect our shire’s passion for both art and literature, it has grown every year with more than 200 children submitting entries in 2024 and 2025.”
The Bookmark Competition is based on this year’s Children’s Book Week theme, ‘Symphony of Stories’ and will be displayed at the Library during October and November. Five prize winners will be selected across three age groups:
• 4 – 8 years
• 9 – 12 years
• 13 – 17 years
More than 30 prizes have been generously contributed by Friends of Mansfield Library.
